The Surprise Reward

Who am I?

God, who am I?

Sincerely, who?

Rewarding is a precious response fetched

Fetched from far

Far in the depths of the loving bottom

The bottom of a sincerely fond heart

Who am I?

God, who am I?

Sincerely, who?

Does every effort attract a reward?

Does it?

Does it take stocks of wealth

For one to reward?

Is it a rich loving heart?

Who am I?

God, who am I?

Sincerely, who?

It's not by my power

But your wish, mighty one

Getting fitting words for appreciation

May be next to impossible now

But simply put

Bless the hand that giveth

Flood the carriers of the rewarder

With unreserved health, wisdom, earnings, ...

And above all, love for your servants

Forget not the recipient, fill him

With craving to do good always

For good will always follow him.
