The cry

Yes, it was 1962 October, 9th

All the people of the different diversity

Came together on a mission;

Forge democracy and unity-

Build better life for this diversity of a life

Is a vision lost gained?

Yes, 30 years down the road

The generation

Of that day still mentions

The fight for the same; the vagueness

Will time reverse the occasion?

Will this song play again?

Shall we swear in pain?

Shall we now mention;

Next generation

Will it still be next election?

Will the song be the elevation?

Shall it remain the elimination?

In shame we have swam

With corruption we have shared

The innocent blood we have showered

The constitution we have violated

The greed we have taught

Our nation bleeds; the cry is sharp

Sharp in the sky; its hands are up

For rescue she pleads. Oh, who bewitched us?
