CONFLICT IN CULTURES

No, Black Africa

The gods are not happy

You're helping the black culture

To crumble

Like a deserted dilapidated building

You have abused the black culture

Describing its ways satanic

You adore foreign names

At the expense of your own

You happily identify yourselves

As Sam, Olive, Alex, Boy, Girl, .....

What an abomination!

You're cutting the roots

That hold you

In favour of enslavement

Tell me,

Where beyond Africa

Are your ethnic names

Adored the way you do theirs?

Respect your culture

For only none

Is greater than the other

Every mother prides in her own baby

Regardless of their looks

For sure we should get back to our culture. The poem is bringing out the real image of Africans of today. Please more poems sir.

Yeah, thank you Tonny. We have to realise where we have gone wrong and adjust accordingly.
