PARTYING

DJs parade themselves before the computer 

Caressing it with precision 

Producing thunderbolts of lyrics 

That welcome eager revellers 

To an enticingly decorated party room 

 

The dress code speaks the relevant language 

Unleashing all forms of wear, especially for female partiers 

Some long enough to cover the center of interest 

Others brief enough to turn private parts public 

Yet others tight enough to hamper flexible movement 

Talent showcase takes the day 

Making it clear enough for even the blind

To see that every coin has two sides 

Atmosphere piercing lyrics provide fertile ground 

Revellers unconsciously unmask themselves 

Exposing a true picture of what they are 

 

The timid graduate to daredevils 

Torrents of temptations colonise the room 

Slowly but surely beautifying the way to hell 

Sanity stealthily deserts partiers 

Rare and common dance strokes engulf the house 

Distance between opposite sex dancers creates a wave of fear 

Paving way for body to body contact 

The result of which forms another narrative
