I Miss The Other Version Of You

As time moves 

you start to change

you act different

you ain't the one i met in class that first day in school

you treat me well and yet

you didn't do it at first

to be honest, the person

i see now creeps me out

i miss the other version of you,

the one that used to tease me,

the one who would nag me and

knew how to keep up with my drama

the one who wanted me ashamed before my teachers

you mad made me grow emotionally

the new you ain't bad tho,

but i miss the other version of you

i miss my enmy friend

i miss the one i knew
