If flow must the pride
Ugandan I am.
A nation born of Africa, yet Africa born of her-the pearl of Africa
The fill of wild and domestic flora and fauna
A house of hospitality- the raise of togetherness
A liking for humanity- and goodness for all
I am a Ugandan
A nation inconsistent;
A mother of worriers- worriers against themselves, yet for segregation
Uganda, a nation of struggle- live alone for all
Burren parents of street children
Rich non-providers of the poor and hungry
Democratic leaders of the undemocratic elections
The peace of the dying and kidnapped
I am a Ugandan
An arena of hope-hope for the next general election
Not the next generation.
Of promises- promises political- pathetic ones
A country of one plus one is two, eleven and
Later nothing.
I am a Ugandan
Ugandan;
Uganda;
A farm
An animal farm.
All these I know, and know to be true, because, I am, a Ugandan!
